Callaghan Homes is a licensed and insured building company that began in 1976. Dale Callaghan, the company's founder and life long Livingston County resident, then built his first modular home. Leading to the establishment of his company, Dale saw the need for quality affordable housing in the greater Livingston County area and recognized that modular housing was the answer. Technology has advanced in the industry during these past three decades to the point where quality modular housing has surpassed stick built homes in many areas.

Dale continues to design / build homes in an industry that has become known as "Systems Built." What's the difference? Callaghan says "We still build a number of starter homes each year, but the majority of our customers are at a place in their life where they know exactly what they want, and we can customize a home to suit their individuality. Typically, it's their second or third home and the customer plans to stay in that home for an extended period. With literally hundreds of floor plans, most of which can be customized, the ability to start from a blank sheet of paper, and the quality we deliver, educated buyers are building a better home for less and in a shorter period of time."
